Catania Airport Facilities

Catania Airport has made an effort to provide a number of facilities to travelers to ensure that they have everything they would need under one roof.

Airport parking

At Catania Airport you will find 65 short-term parking spots at T4 and T5. The rates are 1 Euro for the first six hours and 0.50 Euros for every additional hour. There are also 1012 long-term parking spaces that will cost you 1.50 Euros for the first hour, 2.50 Euros for 2 hours, 9 Euros for the fast day, 6 Euros for every additional day, and 4 Euros every day after the fifth day.

Shops and restaurants

You will find a coffee shop, two restaurants, and two stores that include a duty-free shop on the first level of the departures hall. The number of shops, restaurants, and bars has increased considerably with the expansion and the opening of a new terminal.

Business center

The airport has a business center where travelers can reserve a meeting room. These rooms offer internet access and fax facilities.

Lost & Found

For baggage assistance contact directly the Airline or, in case of lost baggage, immediately claim to the related handling company, and fill in the PIR (Property Irregularity Report)

Disabled facilities

The airport has been built in such a way that the disabled travelers can access Catania Airport with little or no assistance. The airport has put in place restrooms that are easily accessed by disabled travelers, elevators, wheelchair ramps, services for the visually impaired, and twenty parking spaces. The airport also provides wheelchairs upon request via an intercom system found at the entrance of the departures hall.

Other Facilities

Other facilities that are within the airport include banks that are only opened during weekdays as from 8:20AM-1:30PM and as from 2:45PM -3:45PM.

There are also money exchange offices and ATMs. At the arrivals hall you will find a First Aid post, a counter that handles lost and found items, and an information desk that provides general information to travelers.
